Mahogany Silk/Cashmere Reinyarnations Reclaimed Yarn
This yarn began as a sweater that was very literally falling apart at the seams. It was carefully unraveled through a process involving weighing, measuring, and gently relaxing the yarn. From this effort, I obtained hundreds of yards of two of the most wearable fibers available. This yarn is an ultra-luxurious blend of 85% silk and 15% cashmere, known for its incredible drape and luxurious feel. With a thickness of about 21-22 wraps per inch (wpi), it falls within the Craft Yarn Council's standard weight of 1 - Super Fine, previously known as fingering weight yarn. The sample swatch shown was crocheted with a 2.2mm hook. Each skein contains approximately 200-300 yards, slightly underestimated, for a total of about 800 yards. This is a one-of-a-kind lot, so if it catches your interest, be sure to purchase it before it sells out.
This listing is for the lot. Each listing is unique and cannot be reproduced. All stock is limited. Yarn will be sent in a twisted hank format, as shown in the photos. If you prefer your yarn wound into a convenient cake, you can add my ball winding service to your order for a flat rate that covers all yarn in your purchase.
