Rosewood Merino/Cashmere Reinyarnations Reclaimed Yarn
This yarn began as a merino sweater and a cashmere scarf, meticulously unraveled in a lengthy process that involved careful weighing, measuring, and gently relaxing the yarn. Using my Louet spinning wheel, I spun together the resulting yarn to create an incredibly soft marled blend of 67% merino and 33% cashmere. Initially, the yarn from the brown merino sweater didn't meet my desired weight, so I added a ply of cashmere to achieve the perfect texture, a decision I'm glad I made.
With a thickness of about 20 wraps per inch (wpi), this yarn falls into the Craft Yarn Council's standard weight of 1 - Super Fine, previously known as fingering weight yarn. The sample swatch shown was crocheted using a 3.5mm hook. Each skein contains approximately 150-250 yards, though this is slightly underestimated, for a total of about 640 yards. This is a unique batch, so if it catches your eye, make sure to grab it before it's no longer available.
This listing is for the lot. Each listing is unique and cannot be replicated. ALL STOCK IS LIMITED STOCK. Yarn will be sent as a twisted hank (as pictured here). If you want your yarn wound into an easy-to-use cake, add my ball winding service to your order. One flat rate covers all the yarn in your order.
