Speckle Party Cotton/Acrylic Reinyarnations Reclaimed Yarn
This yarn originally came from a sweater that was meticulously unraveled in a lengthy process that involved careful weighing, measuring, and gently relaxing the yarn. The result is hundreds of yards of a delightful cotton/acrylic blend, creating a speckled effect with little dots of color scattered throughout a cream and gray base that can only be called a Speckle Party! I particularly enjoy working with this 60% cotton/40% acrylic blend for garments. While cotton can be heavy at this thickness, the lightweight acrylic adds volume and durability without the extra weight.
With a thickness of about 10 wraps per inch (wpi), this yarn falls into the Craft Yarn Council's standard weight of 4 - medium, previously known as worsted weight yarn. The sample swatch shown was crocheted with a 4mm hook. Each skein contains approximately 100-200 yards, slightly underestimated, for a total of around 880 yards. This is a unique batch, so if it catches your eye, don't hesitate to purchase it before it's gone.
This listing is for the lot. Each listing is unique and cannot be reproduced. All stock is limited. Yarn will be sent in a twisted hank format, as depicted in the photos. If you prefer your yarn wound into a convenient cake, you can add my ball winding service to your order for a flat rate that covers all yarn in your purchase.
